Nocturnes: When the World Sleeps is a book based on research, which challenges unnecessary norms by showing collective stories from the past to the present, emphasising the beauty and alternative perspectives that arise during sleeping hours.

The moment of awakening is viewed as a ‘moment’ that fills the margins of the 24-hour day, which is divided into day and night. According to Henri Lefebvre (1959), that disrupts bodily routines and transforms aspects of daily life that are mundane.
