2022This zine documents a project about the demolition and redevelopment of an old neighborhood in Xiamen. Commonly known as the Hubin area, this neighborhood consists of some of the first commercial housing built after China's reform and opening-up. The book captures the architectural style of apartment residences from the 1980s and 90s. In recent years, the pace of urban renewal in China has accelerated, with many areas undergoing demolition and redevelopment. Although it is just a renovation of the city centre, and the original residents have the right to move back after the redevelopment, the original community ecosystem and landscape will disappear. In a time when the internet lacks memory, I wanted to use this book to document the past and reflect on the relationships between residential architecture, communities, and their residents.
这本zine记录了一个关于厦门老社区拆迁改造的项目。这个社区俗称湖滨片区，属于厦门改革开放后第一批商品房，书中记录了8-90年代公寓住宅的建筑风格。这些年，国内的城市更新进程加速，许多地方都在拆迁改造，虽然这只是一次市中心的翻新，当地原住民在改造后有权选择返迁回原地，不过原有的社区生态风景就此消失了。在互联网没有记忆的当下，我想借由这本书记录过往，思考住宅建筑、社区和居民之间的关系。

2023This is a workbook about practicing layout within a predefined grid. In this 30-day visual diary, I picked up the most common materials around me—ledger forms and acrylic pens—and experimented with different fonts and visual tensions through hand-drawing to document the sights and sounds of each day. As I became more deliberate in arranging the elements, I noticed that their relationships were much like those between people—there is always a give and take, and only by carefully managing space and distance can harmony be achieved.
这是一本关于在既定网格里做编排的练习册，在30天的视觉日记里，我拿起身边最常见的材料——账本表格和丙烯笔，用手绘的方式尝试不同的字体和图形张力，以此记录下当天的所见所闻。当我越发排兵布阵每个元素的时候，发现它们之间就像人与人之间的关系，总会有进有退，拿捏适当的空间和距离才能形成和谐的局面。
