K.O.W 女儿国K.O.W was initiated by JiaoNong, Qianyang Zuo and Ye Zhiren. It is an art project that dedicates to the fair cooperation among women in writing and independent publishing. We invite female on the Internet to discuss their personal experiences. We focus more on those so called ‘private’, ‘trivial’ and ‘unimportant’ events and emotions, which are normally suppressed in our daily life. Writing and reading are daily behaviors of everyone, home printers is our tool. The Chinese name of our group (the Kingdom of Women) comes from the novel Journey to the West, a utopia with all its members women.
