044 Art Studio044 Art Studio is an independent publishing studio based in London. The studio publishes art books related to poems, photography, and illustration, with a specific interest in exploring the diverse potentials between text and image, paper and material, reading and narrative. 044 was founded by three artists who are obsessed with books and firmly believe in the power of print media. The name derived from their previous studio ‘Rus. 044’ back in Cambridge School of Art where they completed Illustration and Book Art course together, with the hope to commemorate the unique time spent together during COVID in 2021.

044工作室诞生于2021年，由三位热爱书籍，相信纸媒阅读力量的独立艺术家共同创办。工作室名称来源于她们共同在剑桥艺术学院插画与书籍艺术专业求学时的学校工作室‘Rus. 044‘，希望以此来纪念在2021这个特殊年份，在这间教室度过的特别的日子。
