The epidemic has challenged previous ways of living and even thinking. On days when I could not travel as I wished, time seemed to stand still, and the ensuing boredom stimulated my desire to create. So I chose to start from reality and explore more possibilities of art from everyday life. I let the originally insignificant objects around me temporarily detach themselves from their practical value and highlight their artistic value by combining them with different scenes and objects to create a sense of ‘familiar strangeness’.
疫情向既往的生活乃至思考方式发起挑战。在无法随心所欲出行的日子里，时间仿佛停滞，随着而来的无聊则激发了我的创造欲。于是我选择从现实出发，从日常中探索更多关于艺术的可能。让身边的原本不起眼的物体暂时脱离其实用价值而通过与不同场景，不同物件之间的组合去突出其艺术价值，营造一种“熟悉的陌生感”。
